KINGS Norton Rugby Club are lobbying for an urgent review of proposed changes to the North Midlands league system.
The club say there is general dissatisfaction among most of the clubs in the North Midlands league regarding the change in system proposed by the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
The Ash Lane men have written to nearly all the clubs in the league asking for their support.
The letter sent out by Kings Norton said: "Should the new North Midlands league structure which has already been proposed, be adopted, we at Kings Norton RFC believe that the standard of rugby football played in this region will deteriorate as a direct result."
The club wants everyone in the league to object to the proposals.
