CURIOUS youngsters from Wychbold First and Nursery School celebrated the joys of spring as three chicks were hatched.
The children from class one at the School Road establishment have been carefully looking after the eggs in an incubator and were delighted to see the first chicks.
Headteacher, Eleanor Sinton, said the children had been making a lot of fuss of the newly-hatched chicks and were enjoying feeding them and watching them grow.
She added: "They have grown tremendously in the last week and in a few weeks' time they will return to the farm they came from in Powick.
"In the meantime, it's giving the pupils experience of seeing new life in springtime."
