STRIKER Jermaine Clarke's late season burst of scoring has earned him a contract at Common Road, writes Mervyn Collins.
Evesham United manager Dave Busst revealed that interest from Moor Green had promoted the club to offer Clarke a deal to keep him with the Robins in readiness for next season.
Busst has yet to make any additions to his squad for the new season in the revamped Dr Martens League.
"I've not yet been given my budget for next season but there will be some new faces," the Robins' boss admitted.
Busst did reveal that none of the squad that ended last season have told him that they are leaving although there have been a couple of inquiries about Marc Burrow.
The club stages its annual presentation and dinner at the Nort-hwick Hotel next Friday night, June 4.
