MAY was the meeting where the three resolutions for the AGM, this year in Sheffield, are discussed.
The president presented arguments for and against and there was a degree of debate before members voted.
The competition, the number of words of four or more letters which could be compiled from "Resolution Meeting" was won by Janet Baines with an incredible 603! Olive Cull won the raffle.
The meeting was brought to an hilarious conclusion by Janet and Marion Cargill ,who performed an impromptu sketch to entertain everyone.
The next meeting on June 10 will be a talk on antiques by Abe Alpren. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
