AT the May meeting, president Sue Canfield extended a special welcome to WI adviser Sandra Farquhar, who led the discussion on the resolutions before members voted.
Members reported on events they had attended during the last month. These included a hanging basket demonstration at Worcester Garden Centre, the Lucy Hingley Lecture on cardiology and the final skittles match.
Joan Latham spoke about the Water for All Project, reminding members that 25 per cent of the world's population have never had clean water to drink.
The evening finished on a lighter note with a version of The Pudding Club. Members indulged in an array of home-made puddings, some healthy, some not so healthy, but all very tempting.
