GET your barrows running and head out on the highway!
It's nearly time again for the annual Studley Wheelbarrow race again and organisers want more people than ever to get involved and expend a bit of energy for two good causes.
Bob Wall, landlord of The Bell pub in Alcester Road, who is organising the July 1 race, said he wanted to see a record turnout this year. Last year saw £700 raised.
This year's donations will be made to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance and Studley Young Firefighters.
The race sees teams of two racing around a set course via eight pubs and stopping off for half a pint each at every one on the way.
There will also be a prize for those dressed in the best fancy dress.
Mr Wall said: "We have a great time with the wheelbarrow race and it's always a good fundraiser. We want to see plenty of people taking part this year."
Sponsor forms are available from The Bell by dropping in or by calling Pat or Kevin on 852216.
Funds collected need to be in before or on the day of the race following a couple of 'let-downs' last year when sponsorship money was never handed over.
