FUNDRAISER Mike Abbott was the guest of honour at a tea party in Alcester to celebrate Mind week.
Mr Abbott, who has raised hundreds of pounds for Springfield Mind in Stratford, was at the Resource caf at the Pavilion in St Faith's Road, where he revealed how much he raised in his latest event, the Stratford triathlon.
The caf is open every Thursday from 11am-3pm and offers companionship to people with mental health problems.
Overcoming isolation was the theme for Mind week, which ran last week, and services manager Kate Morrison said: "Research indicates that being with other people and enjoying their company helps to conquer isolation and loneliness.
"Sharing problems and being with others can help people feel supported and happier."
