THE funeral of former Kidderminster mayor, Jim Bourke, will be held at St Ambrose RC Church tomorrow at 11am.
It will be preceded by a Requiem Mass today at 4.30pm at the church in Birmingham Road. Everybody who had connections with Mr Bourke is welcome at both services.
Mr Bourke, a familiar face to many people in the town, died at the age of 91 at the Gables Nursing Home.
He was a popular character and was dubbed the "walking mayor" because he refused to use the official car.
He is survived by a daughter, son and two grandchildren.
