ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet's star man Brian Humphries took the Cobra Classic 14km race title on Sunday by a margin of more than 40 seconds.
Humphries won in 50 minutes 22 seconds with John Amos next home for the club in 12th position.
Amos also scooped the second male over-45 award, running 57-25 which was three minutes faster than his previous year's time.
Craig Lewis was 23rd in one hour 0-29 as the first three men were narrowly beaten for the team prize by Stourbridge Running Club.
It was also the sixth race in the club race league which Amos leads, ahead of Lewis and Humphries.
Sarah Armstrong leads the ladies' title by 69 points after finishing 76th overall in 1-07-44 at the weekend.
Other times and positions: Philip Bubb 1-06-34, 66th; Gerry Sanders 1-06-44, 68th; David Pye 1-07-38, 75th; Andy Norris 1-09-28, 90th; Richard Baker 1-14-49, 130th; Paul Hancock 1-17-57, 157th.
Corin Elliott travelled further afield, recording a 48-40 finish in the Manchester 10km.
In the first race of the Worcestershire Mid-week League at Stourport, Humphries again had a good run and finished third in 32-32.
