VICTORIOUS year 10 students at Wolverley High School are celebrating lifting the Worcestershire U-15s County Cup.
A hard-fought final, against Kingsley College, Redditch, resulted in a 4-0 victory for Wolverley who dominated most of the match with superb football.
Tom Wassell grabbed a stunning hat-trick and victory was secured by an impressive goal from Scott Leach.
The boys reached the final by beating Haybridge High School 2-1 in the semis.
Team manager Michael Deacy said: "The victory over Haybridge in the semi-final was hard-fought and gave the lads confidence in their team-work.
"It proved to them that commitment and teamwork are a victorious combination."
Headteacher Kevin O'Regan said: "I am delighted that the determination of the team has been rewarded. I am sure Michael Deacy's training and advice were a significant contribution to the victory."
The team hope to be successful in the league championship.
