KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' final game of the season against Boston proved a particularly emotional one for Main Stand regular Pat Footitt.
The Harriers fan makes her own annual presentation to favourite player Scott Stamps at the end of every campaign but this proved to be the last.
Stamps, who is based in the Birmingham area, was one of nine players released by director of football Jan Molby.
But Pat has vowed to make sure she is there for at least one of his new club's games this season, wherever he may end up.
Along with husband Cliff, she has bought a new season ticket for Aggborough but Saturdays will not be the same.
Pat said: "I've presented him with the award every season Scott's been here and I really did feel this would be the last one.
"Although he didn't say anything about it, I'd felt he'd be going over the last couple of weeks of the season.
"I'm really upset about it though I know people move on. I think he's been the best left-back I've seen at Harriers, definitely the most committed.
"Wherever he goes, we will find him and go to see him at some point!"
