IT was a business breakfast with a difference when more than 50 companies accepted an invitation to head along to West Midland Safari Park.
The event was the launch pad for initiatives available to employers through Kidderminster College's Business Unit, including funded training initiatives, free basic skills training, apprenticeship schemes and discounted short courses.
There was also a free problem-solving workshop offering managers the opportunity to learn a new set of management techniques
Strategy
Andrew Miller, principal and chief executive of Kidderminster College, opened the event and Tim Mason, director of curriculum, business and strategy, gave an overview of the funded training initiatives available.
"It was an excellent opportunity to bring local business people together with the college to explore where links and partnerships can be developed for mutual benefit," said Mr Miller.
Full details of all the courses available can be obtained by phoning the Business Unit at Kidderminster College on 01562 512029.
