A TODDLER from Malvern died after his parents found him lying face down in his bed.
Sixteen-month-old Adam Foulkes had been ill for several days before his death on Sunday night, Worcestershire Coroner's Court heard yesterday.
County coroner, Victor Round, said attempts by his mother and paramedics failed to resuscitate him, after he was found lifeless hours after being put to bed.
Adam, of Davenham Close, had been seen by a doctor the previous Thursday after contracting a rash, Mr Round said.
The coroner said a post mortem into the death - which was con-firmed at Worcester-shire Royal Hospital shortly after he arrived by ambulance - had not yet been completed. Mr Round adjourned the inquest until a date to be fixed.
