THE final Droitwich Spa pair frustrated Chaddesley Corbett to prevent them recording a second Worcestershire League Division One victory in a row.
Fast bowler Rowan Vorster's excellent spell of 6-44 ensured the visitors had no chance of catching the 204-8 set by Chaddesley who had beaten local rivals Bewdley the previous weekend.
But Droitwich held on at 166-9 to leave Chaddesley fourth in the table, eight points behind leaders Eastnor with five games played.
Ian Chambers (70) and Paul Lyman (54) top scored for Kevin Truswell's side.
Chaddesley Corbett 204-8, Droitwich Spa 166-9.
The roles were reversed in the seconds fixture as it was Chaddesley clinging on for a draw on Saturday.
They managed to dismiss Droitwich but it was for a big total of 260 runs with G Thomas (79) and G Cartwright (64) punishing the bowling.
Dave Perry provided a threat and took 7-73, while Grant Bishop chipped in with 3-52.
In reply, Chaddesley's Robert Bond and Tom Mole managed to bat out around 10 overs for seven points and a losing draw.
Droitwich Spa 260, Chaddesley Corbett 2nds 146-8.
