CLUBBERS had the chance to grab souvenirs and memorabilia when items from a top Hereford nightspot went under the hammer.
The interior of Bridge Street's Crystal Rooms club, which closed earlier this month, was emptied and sold off by Brightwells Auctioneers at 10.30am yesterday.
The venue achieved national recognition for its "Naughty but Nice" dance nights and more than 450 lots - from bar stools and beer signs to disco lights and sound systems - were sold.
Auctioneer Julian Gallimore added: "We even had the equipment that made the chips and fried the eggs."
The Crystal Rooms was sold earlier this year and closed its doors for the last time on May 8.
It is understood the building will be demolished and the site redeveloped.
The club attracted revellers from all over the UK as well as star DJs such as Jeremy Healey, Lisa Lashes and Judge Jules.
