A PAINTINGS and crafts exhibition is being held over the Bank Holiday weekend at Gadfield Elm House, Staunton for Staunton Church funds, by kind permission of Canon and Mrs John Evans and an added attraction will be the opening of the garden with its many attractive and unusual features in a beautiful setting.
The weekend begins tonight (Friday) at 7.30pm with a preview supper, when the paintings by Churchdown artists and other local artists will be on sale. Tickets for the supper and preview are £8, which includes a glass of wine. To book ring (01452) 840273 or 302.
Tomorrow to Bank Holiday Monday, May 31, the garden will be open to the public from 2pm-6pm each day when there will be various stalls and teas, also ornamental iron work and garden furniture on display, in addition to the paintings and crafts. The PCC are extremely grateful to Canon and Mrs Evans for their kindness and hospitality.
