GARDENERS enjoyed picking up some bargains at a plant sale in aid of Upton's Beechwood nursing home.
Everything from bedding plants to perennials were on offer at the event on Saturday, which raised more than £500 towards providing birthday and Christmas presents for the home's residents and day care clients.
Pat King, of the Friends of Beechwood, said: "It all went very well. There was a steady flow of people and lots to see, with a very good cake stall and a raffle."
