AN Upton band will launch its debut album at a gig in the town next Saturday, June 5.
Neitherbignorclever, fronted by 16-year-old Luke Leighfield, will be performing tracks from the album Neitherbignorclever Do Jazz for Jesus. Proceeds from the gig will go to the charity Wateraid.
The album was recorded at studios in Hanley Castle High School and costs £4 from the group's website, www.nbnc. cjb.net, or at gigs.
Fellow Upton bands DeMontfort, All of the Above and Adonis will also perform. The gig runs from 7pm to 10.30pm at the Church Rooms. Admission is £3.
