DURING an otherwise very enjoyable holiday in Malvern, I lost a wallet with money in it.
After asking about it without success in shops that I had visited, I gave up hope of seeing it again. This week I was delighted to receive a letter saying that it had been found.
I should like to thank very much the person who handed it in at the Three Counties Showground, as well as Mrs Newman of the Three Counties Agricultural Society. She took the trouble to trace me with very little information so that she could return the lost property to me.
As I am writing to you, I should like to mention how much we appreciate the work of the staff at the Tourist Information Centre in Church Street. They told us about the free bus to the Spring Gardening Show and the Hills Hopper, both of which provided excellent service. We also heard from them about the well dressing, so were able to look for and admire a number of beautifully decorated wells and springs. Thank you also to them.
MRS CHRISTINE SIMPSON, Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
