I HAVE just read Councillor Stephen Inman's comments in the Evening News (Thursday, May 20) and, I quote "recent concerns tackled include problems along Bilford Road associated with the household waste site."
Would the councillor tell us what he means by tackled?
The situation at the entrance to this site has not changed. It is still as dangerous as it always has been - even more so on Saturdays with vehicles stationary for half a mile in both directions.
I agree with Liberal Democrat Celia Foulger. The problem can only be solved by finding a better location for this important facility. This is exactly what we, the people who live in this area, have been telling both councils for years.
