THE second Malvern Gazette Super 12s Trophy challenge match between the Year 7 rugby teams from Dyson Perrins High School and The Chase, scheduled to be played at Malvern Rugby Club this weekend, has been postponed.
Both schools asked for a deferment of the match because of the spring half-term break and the non-availability of players and teaching staff.
The match between the two school sides has now been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28, as a curtain-raiser for the Malvern 1st XV league match against Hereford, with a 12.15pm kick-off.
The Chase currently hold a 1-0 lead in the three match series after securing a 45-0 win over their rivals from Dyson Perrins, which was played less than a 100 minutes after England's World Cup victory last November. Since then, the Dyson Perrins squad has been training hard and hoping to tie the series with a big performance.
