PARKING can be a problem in Worcester - but this driver seems to have taken things to a whole new level.
After careering off Station Road, Fernhill Heath, to avoid an animal, he swerved and slammed into a wall, stopping right in the centre of a driveway exit.
Home-owner Roger Plant - a talented craftsman who has been featured in the Evening News for his twig pencils - could not believe his eyes when he saw the Volkswagen wedged perfectly between the two walls.
"It was an horrendous crashing noise - it sounded like a building had collapsed," said Mr Plant after the crash on Thursday night.
"My wife, Catherine, is a nurse so our first reaction was 'good grief, someone could be injured'.
"But then, when we saw it in from the road, we just thought we had to get a picture of it - it was unbelievable how it was jammed between the two walls.
"The driver said he had swerved to avoid an animal in the road, lost control and took the top of the bricks off. My wife's car parked on the drive was inches away from being hit."
The man behind the wheel, who has not been identified, was unhurt but was forced to escape through his window because his driver's door was so close to the Plants' vehicles.
Mr Plant added that the Volkswagen was removed around two hours after the crash when its owner organised a pick-up truck to tow it away.
