MAY I thank you and all at your paper for helping in our campaign to help provide information to people with diabetes.
Some people with diabetes have experienced adverse effects when using GM insulins.
Already there has been a huge response from your readers who were to read that the problems of extreme tiredness, weight increase, memory loss, confusion, loss of hypo warnings, joint pains and general un-wellness are finally being listened to and that an alternative insulin is available.
Understanding
Thanks to your paper, we have been able to offer your readers understanding and information that there are animal insulins available on the NHS and that this may reduce the problems that some people with diabetes are experiencing.
Your newspaper did a fantastic job.
JENNY HIRST,
Chairman,
Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust.
