THE House of Lords has just debated smacking, following revised calls for the practice to be banned.
There are powerful organisations in this country that are determined that the Government should make draconian Interventions into family life.
They have the support of the communist and imperialist United Nations.
Those who choose not to physically chastise their children ought to respect the freedom of these parents who choose to bring up their children in a different manner.
Are children better behaved today then 40 years ago? All of the evidence suggests that smacking, when lovingly administered, contributes to the discipline and well-being of children.
