CAROLE Roberts' comments struck a chord with me when she wondered if Worcester people were ever young, with regard to all the moaning about noise in locations such as Marr's Barr, which by their very nature are bound to be a little noisy.
I refer to the decision to impose a 1,300 per cent price rise on the licence fee for the Summer XS pop concert, which was a great success last year, albeit for some moaning about the loudness of the fireworks finale!
This astronomical licence cost rise has meant that Wyvern has decided to stage the event in Dudley instead - thanks for denying the youngsters of Worcester a good day out.
Perhaps you could organise a cheap park-and-ride to Dudley for the kids who will otherwise miss out?
TIM BENNETT, Barbourne.
