A COUPLE with a two-month old baby are still sleeping rough in a car after two councils "failed" to find them a home.
Gordon Kenny and his partner Sharon Maggs were evicted from their Droitwich home - owned by Bromford Carinthia - after running up large rent arrears.
Since losing their appeals last week to stop in bed and breakfast accommodation, the couple along with their baby and seven-year-old child have been sleeping in their car.
Mr Kenny is still looking for general labour work, and the couple hope that a recent interview may prove successful.
"We're waiting to hear on the interview, but we're still in the car and we're just trying to keep our spirits up," said Ms Maggs.
The couple had been put in B&B accommodation by Wychavon District Council while their appeal was heard, but the council ruled they were intentionally homeless- because they could not pay their rent.
They then appealed to Worcester for help which placed them in a B&B, but their second appeal also failed.
A spokeswoman for the authority said because the couple had made themselves intentionally homeless, the council had no duty to find them a home.
