A FOUL-mouthed teenager has been banned from entering the west side of Bridge Street, in Stourport-on-Severn, for two years.
Kidderminster magistrates issued the Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) against 17-year-old Timothy Bower, of Erneley Close, Stourport, following 12 months of persistent bad behaviour including spitting, using foul language and intimidation.
The order means that he cannot enter the Flamingo Amusement Arcade and the Rendezvous Caf between Engine Lane and the junction of York Street and New Street.
Abusive
He is also not allowed to enter the Stourport-on-Severn River Basin, to smash any bottle or other glass object, use foul or abusive language or gestures or encourage anyone else to do so.
On Friday, May 28, magistrates also banned him from using or threatening violence towards anyone, or encouraging anyone else to do so, including play fighting or acting in a manner likely to cause alarm or distress, which included causing an obstruction, shouting, spitting, banging on any window and littering.
PC Jon Harris from Stourport said most of the victims were traders from amusement arcades and local shops in Bridge Street, which is why restrictions had been requested in that area.
