RESIDENTS of Worcestershire have been urged to clean up their act as part of European Green Week.
The week runs from until Friday and is aimed at challenging the way people behave towards the environment and improving the world around us.
"During the week, I would like to encourage Worcestershire's residents to stop and think about every single piece of rubbish they put in the bin," said Carol Trehearn, the county council's waste minimisation officer.
If anyone wants to try the Green Week Challenge, they are asked to call 01905 768268 or visit www.wastemissionimpossible.org.uk
