A Worcestershire singer-songwriter has further cemented his place in music history with one of his songs being voted one of the best of all time.
Clifford T Ward's Home Thoughts From Abroad was voted as the 24th best song of all time on Radio 2's Sold on Song feature, in which listeners voted for their favourite songs.
Clifford, of Stockton-on-Teme, died aged 57 in 2001 after battling for many years with multiple sclerosis.
The former North Bromsgrove High teacher was best known in the 1970s when Gaye made the Top 10.
In 2002, Home Thoughts From Abroad was also voted the fourth best British song of the past 50 years by Radio 2's listeners.
