POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Redditch on Friday, May 21.
The 22-year-old was walking on the footpath between factories on Studley Road between 9.45am and 10.30am when two men approached him and asked for a cigarette light.
As he put his hands in his pockets the offenders pushed him against a wall and stole cash and his mobile phone.
The men then ran off towards a nearby factory where they got into an old light blue Metro car and drove away along Crossgate Road towards Howard Road.
The first offender was described as white and in his early 20s. He was 6ft 2in tall and wearing a blue Nike tracksuit and white trainers.
The second offender was also white, in his early 20s and 5ft 8in tall. He wore a blue baseball cap, black T-shirt and blue jeans.
