EVESHAM United Under-13s came face to face with the FA Cup, Community Shield and the only player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final!
The occasion was the Diamond Cup tournament staged at Rushden and Diamonds FC where the Robins finished second in their group and missed out on a place in the later stages by a single point.
Goalkeeper Ben Parry did bring home a medal after being named his side's individual player of the day - an award dished out by Sir Geoff Hurst, England's goal-scoring hero in 1966.
