Members were welcomed to the May meeting at the Raven Hotel by president Honor Craig.
Guest of honour was district chairman, Jeanne Dorsett, from the Henley-in-Arden club.
A total of 24 members and friends had attended the first night performance of Agatha Christie's mystery A Murder has been Announced at the Norbury Theatre, Droitwich.
Overseas service organiser, Lesley Mackenzie, reported she had taken four large blankets and four smaller blankets and about 200 more teddies to the Overseas Rally, to add to their display of items for despatch overseas.
Congratulations were expressed to Gill Walters on her ruby wedding anniversary.
District chairman Jeanne then thanked the club for the valuable contribution it made to Inner Wheel. During her year in office, the district chairman visits every club in the district and was pleased to meet again with past district chairman, Diane Sutch, from our club.
In a light-hearted talk, Jeanne reminded us of the history of Inner Wheel, now in its 80th year, referring to the links between clubs, district, association and international.
She had enjoyed her year and she was sure we would all support Shirley Clutton when she takes office in July.
