THE club finishes its first part of the year's program with a visit from top railway photographer Peter Thorn, from Rugby.
The club has tried to book Peter many times in recent years without much success. Work commitments and holidays have meant he has been unable to come and visit us but this time he will definitely be with us with a slide presentation entitled Steam Mesellany.
This presentation covers a very wide range, and Peter has vast knowledge of photography and also steam, a super combination. All the slides are medium format so we will see a large picture on the screen.
Peter has travelled the world in search of steam so he has a super collection of slides. The date of the meeting is Wednesday, June 9. We meet at St Godwalds church hall, Aston Fields, and the doors will open at 7.15pm.
