AFTER taking over top spot on Saturday, Pershore consolidated their County League Division One status with another fine win on Bank Holiday Monday.
Bromyard proved tough opposition despite slumping to 46-3 after Stephen Cooper had invited Saturday's hosts to bat first.
Matthew (50no) and Ashley Bullock (49) embarked on a rescue mission and a couple of other decent knocks left Pershore needing 202 for victory.
Martin Johnson produced the best figures with the ball, 2-25 off ten overs, while David Powles, 2-61 off 16, and Lee Wilks slowed down the scoring with some fine spin bowling.
Like their hosts before them, Pershore lost three cheap wickets and they were indebted to Powles and David White as they clawed their way back into contention.
The former reached his half-century off just 37 balls, while White dropped anchor with a solid knock of 28.
When both departed, Trevor Ridings with 38 and a undefeated 35 from Phil Oxley steered Pershore to victory with four wickets and five overs to spare.
Powles continued his excellent form with the ball against Eastnor two days later after Cooper had again invited the visitors to bat on a good looking track.
Oxley, Johnson and Luke Dalley offered fine support with two wickets apiece as Eastnor were dismissed for 134.
The foundation for a fourth league win seven matches was laid by opener Liam Ridings who hit a solid 61.
All the five batsmen who got to the wicket reached double figures with Oxley and Powles completing profitable all-round days with 30 and 18 not out respectively as Pershore cruised to a seven-wicket triumph.
