EVESHAM Ladies Netball Club will be one of eight sides competing for a national prize this weekend when they take part in the National Clubs League (NCL) Entry Tour-nament at Kettering.
The reward for the competition winners and runners-up is a place in Division Seven of the NCL, the premier netball competition for the top 56 teams in England.
The teams taking part are spread over more than 300 miles, with representatives from Bath, Gateshead, Essex and Swindon also on court.
And, with a two-up, two-down promotional policy at the end of each season, Evesham will hope to eventually emulate Birmingham-based side Linden, who were this year crowned undefeated National Clubs League champions.
Evesham's rivals on Saturday are Didsbury (Stockport), Pinehurst (Swindon), Tegate (Harlow), Falcons Yellow (Leicester), Bath (Bath), Telstars (Dartford) and Gateshead (Tyne and Wear).
