PLANS are well under way for Alcester's annual street market on June 13.
Organised by High Bailiff Keith Tomlinson and his team, the event raises funds for the Court Leet as well as giving local organisations a chance to raise money for themselves.
Themes change each year and this year is the Mad Hatter's Market.
Mr Tomlinson said: "Local interest has been good and we hope more organisations will come forward over the next couple of weeks and take the opportunity to run a stall for the day.
"We also hope the window competition will be hotly contested by the town's shopkeepers.
"It would be wonderful if everyone entered into the spirit of the day and wore a hat of some sort - the crazier the better."
The street market takes place in High Street and Church Street, where, as well as stalls, there will be entertainment from bands, choirs and dancers.
