MOVES to improve equality and diversity guidelines at Worcestershire County Council are set for assessment by the public.
The plans, which aim to eliminate unlawful discrimination, promote equal opportunities and encourage fair access to council services, are undergoing public consultation until Monday, June 28.
"This draft policy is another major step forward. We need to make sure that local people agree that it will work," said Jennie Bashforth, chairman of the council's equality board.
An online questionnaire on the proposals has been set up on the county council's website or can be posted to anyone who rings the authority on 01905 766938.
