SOME of the world's most famous classical musicians have gathered in Malvern for the start of an international festival celebrating the music of Edward Elgar.
Cellist Natalie Clein and singer Robert Pomakov are among a host of musicians taking part in events over the next four days.
Organisers say they want to raise the profile of Elgar, both in Worcestershire and across the world.
The composer, who was born in Lower Broadheath in 1857 and died 70 years ago, is one of the county's most famous sons.
