MAY I write to you with most disgust at the way that the Community Hospital dentist is run.
On Friday, May 28, I developed a toothache, and as normal took some paracetamol ease the pain, it came and went but on Saturday afternoon began to get worse, (being bank holiday weekend everything seems to happen).
However by Saturday night my toothache became worse and worse and an abscess developed, all day Sunday I stood the pain with paracetamol, then Holiday Monday I went to the NHS dentist down at the hospital as a prescription for penicillin was needed, in I walked and I could not believe it.
I, was asked if I had a dentist, I told the truth and said yes, I was told wait until tomorrow (Tuesday) and go and see him, what an absolute disgrace.
I pay my taxes, insurance contribution stamps, tell the truth and told to go away, what are things coming to, I had to bear another day of sheer pain and swelling. Surely to God as an NHS practice and an emergency case I was entitled to treatment?
