PARISH GAMES: Upper Arley proved their aim was true by staking their claim in the Wyre Forest Parish Games' archery competition.
Their team of four ensured first place at Arley Sports and Social Club with 1,095 points, ahead of Blakedown and Churchill on 1,008.
Stone were third with 924 and Wolverley and Cookley fourth on 660, while Rock could not field a team.
A pre-competition training session was provided as practice for the archers.
The next event is the golf at Ombersley's club in Crossway Green on Friday, June 11, from 4pm.
