A bouncy castle and a generator used to inflate it were stolen from a pub in Rock.
The equipment was taken from the Duke William, Callow Hill, between 11pm on Sunday and 8.30pm on Monday.
The castle was described as blue and yellow, with four corner posts and pictures of clowns on the front two posts, as well as "clowns" written by hand on the clown images.
A police spokesman said: "A bouncy castle is awkward to move. If anyone noticed anything unusual that they believe may be connected to this incident, please call on 08457 444888."
