The group joined with Wolverley WI for the meeting in Wolverley church hall. The resolutions for 2004 were presented to members by Pat Bell, Maggie Gregg and Janet Murray and a vote was taken, the results will go to the annual meeting.
After a supper prepared by members, Beryl Berry held a quiz to end the meeting. This month's flowers were given to Audrey Jones.
Members took part in the "Carnival Time" day at the Ramada Hotel. They obtained good marks and were highly commended for their entries.
Dr Peter Barham was the morning speaker and his subject was microwave ovens.
After lunch and a walk in the grounds, Beatties presented a fashion show. Prize certificates were then awarded.
The coffee morning, ploughman's lunch and plant swap will now be on Saturday at 10.30 am at the home of Jeanne and Bert Round.
The group will be holding its flower, croft and produce show on September 18 at the Eagle and Spur.
The next meeting on June 14 will be held in the Eagle and Spur, when members will organise the programme.
