THE former political editor of ITN will share stories from more than 30 years in broadcasting at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.
John Sergeant will tell of his time as a reporter in Vietnam, the Middle East and southern Africa and as a political correspondent, including the famous handbagging incident with Margaret Thatcher two days before she resigned in 1990.
He has recently returned to his first love in broadcasting, light entertainment, and has published his memoirs, Give Me Ten Seconds.
Tickets for the show, which takes place next Wednesday at 7.45pm, are priced £8 to £16 and are available from the box office on 01242 572573.
