RESIDENTS fighting an extension mooted for a house in a leafy Bewdley street will have to wait another month to find out if their fears have been heeded by councillors.
Members of Wyre Forest District Council's planning (development control) committee agreed to look at the site of the proposed first floor extension, in Park Lane, to make up their minds.
A resident from nearby Park Lodge, Margaret Smith, addressed members at last Thursday's meeting, saying the extension was out of keeping with the area, would represent a loss of privacy and overlook their homes.
She said: "Viewing the location will provide much more information on the impact that the development will have."
Five letters of objection were sent to the committee opposing the application, which also included a balcony to the front and side of the building. Case officer, Julia McKenzie-Watts, recommended councillors approve the plan.
