PINVIN C of E First School is celebrating an Artsmark award which recognises schools that demonstrate a commitment to providing opportunities across all art forms.
Headteacher Pat Trivett said: "I am delighted that the Arts Council has recognised all our achievements. As a school we pride ourselves in the fantastic artwork produced by the children and displayed in the classrooms and art gallery."
She added: "We never miss an opportunity to welcome artists or musicians into the school and we regularly visit local theatres and participate in dance festivals. Our parents help to make this all possible and we really appreciate their ongoing support. We really are a very artistic school in every sense of the word."
Richard Elliott, chairman of governors, said: "This is a great tribute to all the hard work that the staff put into all aspects of the children's education."
