A FEAST of light classical music is set to raise the rafters of Stourport Civic Hall to raise cash for a Kidderminster centre providing information and support for dementia sufferers.
Stourport Brass Band will be playing at the concert on Saturday, June 12, as will singer, Hannah McFarland, and accompanist, John Brierley, who will be performing pieces from My Fair Lady.
The event, to raise cash for the New Road drop-in centre, which opened almost three months ago, has been organised by the Kidderminster and District branch of the Alzheimer's Society and will be compered by county radio personality, Mike George.
Chairman of the branch, Eunice Pritchard, said the event would also see the band performing audience requests.
More information on the musical extravaganza, which will run from 7.30pm until 10pm, can be obtained by calling 01299 861300.
Tickets are available from the Alzheimer group's office in New Road, Pete's Prints in Stourport and Bewdley Bookshop.
