AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Evening News deputy sports editor Tony Moore.
Mr Moore, aged 40, was found in his St Peter's home on Sunday, May 30.
Police went to his flat in Dragonfly Green after his parents expressed concern that he had not contacted them. They forced entry and found him in the living room.
A post mortem was carried out on Wednesday by Dr Geoffrey Smith at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but proved inconclusive.
Further tests are being carried out, the results of which are expected in a few weeks.
Worcestershire deputy coroner Tim Sherwood yesterday opened and adjourned the inquest into Mr Moore's death.
He added police were still carrying out investigations, but were not treating the death as suspicious.
