TICKETS are now available for the Colwall Mystery Plays, which will take place in and outside St James' Church, Colwall from Tuesday, June 22 until Saturday, July 3. The Colwall Mystery Plays were first performed ten years ago, written by Steve Hockett and Phil Ward based on the York, Canterbury and Wakefield plays. Tickets are £6 adults and under 16s £4. Saturday - both cycles (Creation and Passion) - £10 adult and under 16s £6.50. Tickets are obtainable from John Goodwin Estate Agent. Further details from Steve Hockett on (01684) 564872. This is a fundraising production for the church.
The Pension Service will be bringing its new mobile information unit to Colwall Village Hall on Wednesdays, June 9, July 14, September 8 and October 13. It will be from 10-11am on each date.

This is a fundraising event for the Scouts' trip to Holland in July 2004.
Colwall Players presented a modern production of Measure for Measure last week at the Village Hall. Those taking part were Jim Howden, John Denham, Harriet Elkins, Chris Morton, Dee Lannie, Diane Lloyd, Lee Farley, Judy Roberson, Anna Byers, Mike Fray, Andrew Howie, Darren Jones, Adrian Mealing, J J Smith and Julie Leighton. The play was directed by Lee Farley.
The next meeting of the Wyche & Colwall Horticultural Society will take place on Monday, June 7, at the village hall. The speaker will be Walter Wilde from Arley Kings, near Stourport-on-Severn, who is an international lecturer, garden designer and garden writer, whose subject will be Westonbirt Arboretum colours since 1829.
