A DOG show and fun day is being held at Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter.
The third annual Companion (exemption) dog show takes place at the Deblins Green shelter from 10.30am on Sunday, June 6.
Last year's show raised £1,200 and this year organisers hope to do even better, with money going toward the building of a bungalow for the centre manager. His present home is a deteriorating mobile unit.
Shelter fundraiser Ann Spensley said: "The new building is absolutely essential and obviously funds are going to be low."
The dog show has 12 classes, including novelty competitions as well as the more serious pedigree entries. Extras include trade stalls, plant stall, teas, barbecue, tombola and a promotional stall with more information about the dog shelter.
