A schoolgirl told police a 45-year-old man touched her indecently and sent her a phone text message which read "goodnight sexy", a jury heard.
The 15-year-old alleged that Charles Nash fondled her while she talked to boys via a computer in an internet chatroom.
In a taped interview played at Worcester Crown Court, the girl said Nash asked her if she wanted him to stop touching her and added that she felt "dirty" by his behaviour.
Nash, of Redstone Lane, Stourport, denies five counts of indecent assault on the teenager between March and May last year.
Neil Williams, prosecuting, said the course of behaviour began with Nash tickling the victim's arms and legs.
But it allegedly escalated to him putting his hands inside the girl's top, although she prevented him placing them under her bra.
One charge states that Nash touched her between her legs over her clothing and another that he tried to put her hand on his private parts.
Mr Williams said after his arrest on Wednesday, May 7, last year, expert analysis showed there had been 12 calls between mobile phones owned by the girl and Nash over a 17-day period.
Nash denied making the calls and insisted there had been no misbehaviour.
He admitted that the girl's phone number was stored in his mobile and described his marriage as "not too hot" about two weeks before his arrest.
The girl said on tape she did not want his attentions "but there wasn't a lot I could do".
She claimed one text message read "goodnight sexy" but added: "I just deleted them all."
Police found no messages from Nash on her phone.
The trial continues.
